Job Summary - Sail Away Vacation Rentals is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Inspector. The Inspector will ensure the cleanliness of our vacation rental properties through detailed property inspections and communication with contracted cleaners to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience for our guests and owners.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct thorough inspections of vacation rental properties to ensure cleanliness and proper functionality of equipment and appliances.
Report any damage, safety, or maintenance issues to the property manager.
Perform cleaning duties such as dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and general cleaning.
Ensure that all linens, towels, and other amenities are stocked, clean, and ready for guest use.
Communicate effectively with guests and staff members to address any concerns or issues related to property cleanliness and maintenance.
Follow established cleaning and inspection protocols to maintain consistency across all properties.
Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with guests and staff members.
Sort and wash linens, towels, bedding, and other laundry items according to company standards
Maintain an inventory of all linens and terries and inform the property manager when needed.
Keep the facilities clean and always organized.
Ensure laundry bags are packed properly based on property type for contracted cleaners.
Assist the team with other duties as needed.

Requirements

Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff members.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Must have reliable transportation to travel between rental properties.
Must be physically able to lift and move heavy objects, climb stairs, and perform cleaning duties for extended periods of time.
