Our Hotel is looking for smiling faces and a bubbly personality to be part of our team. Hyatt Place Lakewood Ranch hotel is minutes from UTC Mall, and Benderson Park.
Our Bistro (The Placery) is located in the lobby with easy menu items, simple preparation and following the menu standards as well as providing a welcoming and clean environment for guests. We offer a breakfast buffet every morning to our guests. Start time is 6am.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Always approach all interactions with guests and employees in a friendly and service-oriented manner by maintaining a positive demeanor.
- Promote a positive and caring work environment by addressing and resolving any conflict in a calm and poised manner.
- Maintain regular attendance as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the individual property.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming which includes wearing the proper uniform and nametag when working.
- Greet guests upon arrival and make them feel welcome
- Provide quality service to all guests by responding to their requests promptly, and efficiently.
- Prepare, set up, stock, take down, clean, and provide quality breakfast products, adhering to all recipe and presentation standards.
- Responsible for creating an impressive breakfast experience for all guests.
- Clearing cutlery and crockery from customers' tables, wiping dining tables, cleaning and replenishing tabletop condiments throughout the shift.
- Provide information and assistance to hotel guests regarding local and property amenities.
- Assist guests efficiently and courteously in all hospitality related functions, while ensuring that all breakfast service is being maintained and served according to brand standards.
- Inventory breakfast items regularly; order or purchase items as necessary or provide an order for the manager.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness of public areas.
- Show initiative in job performance by anticipating the needs of guests and team members.
- Follow all company’s policies, procedures, and meet standards.
- Must maintain a clean and safe work environment and report any safety issues to management immediately.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to verbally communicate, listen, stand for long periods of time, ability to walk, kneel, stoop, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.

This position requires variable hours based on the needs of the hotel.
