Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with an emphasis on quality and efficiency.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to ensure all areas are clean and well-maintained.
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and polishing to maintain the appearance of floors.
- Carry out commercial cleaning duties in various settings, including offices, restrooms, and common areas.
- Conduct industrial cleaning tasks to ensure compliance
- Assist with custodial duties such as trash removal, restroom sanitization,
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs to management promptly.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained in good working condition
- Collaborate with team members to complete cleaning tasks efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
- Previous experience in custodial or janitorial roles is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina; ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor for extended periods.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, including floor care methods.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
