Job Summary:
Our company is currently seeking an experienced, reliable and professional Night Shift Cleaning Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment in various settings, including, but not limited to, commercial offices/buildings, residential homes, and public facilities such as schools and hospitals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Professional Night Shift Cleaning Technician will be responsible for executing industrial cleaning tasks to ensure a safe and sanitary environment. They will perform commercial cleaning duties such as trash removal, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces with precision. Additionally, the Technician will expertly manage floor care, including vacuuming and mopping, and manage custodial responsibilities to uphold cleanliness standards in all areas.
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms, kitchens, and other high-traffic areas - Perform cleaning duties such as dusting, surface wiping, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and washing interior/exterior windows - Restock cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies are running low - Complete tasks according to company standards and client specifications - Follow safety procedures and use appropriate cleaning equipment and products - Report any maintenance or repair needs to management - Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are properly stored and maintained
Skills:
- Preferably have experience in porter or janitorial roles.
- Possess proficiency in industrial cleaning practices.
- Has a thorough understanding of all cleaning tasks for each facility.
- Ability to efficiently perform commercial cleaning duties and maintain cleanliness standards.
- Strong custodial skills to uphold the highest cleanliness standards.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent - Must be 18 years of age or older - Proven experience in industrial cleaning or related field - Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and procedures - Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums and floor scrubbers - Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain cleanliness standards - Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and lift/move supplies as necessary - Ability to work in a fast paced environment - Ability to safely lift up to 40 lbs - Valid driver's license, clean driving record and reliable transportation - Ability to move comfortably up and down ladders - A working cell phone, this job requires the ability to clearly communicate amongst all team members and leadership.
