Position Overview
Primary responsibilities include assembly and test of electronic components and systems.
Additional duties could include assembling parts kits, troubleshooting electrical or electronic
Systems, building electronics test fixtures, and testing and repairing returned systems.
Over the years Binsfeld has earned a strong reputation for quality and reliability. Maintaining
that reputation depends as much on the people building and testing our products as it does the
original product designer. The individual we are seeking for this Production Technician position
works with a strong sense of ownership and pride in work, is orderly and systematic yet keeps up
a good pace and makes best use of time.

searching for an energetic and motivated individual who is eager to learn and willing to pitch-in
as needed while growing with the company. Experience is desirable but, willing to train.

By nature of the work, this is an in-office position. Binsfeld follows MIOSHA protocols,
to maintain a safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and test telemetry products which includes:
- Complete final assembly of circuit boards (includes soldering and cleaning)
- Complete basic mechanical assembly including using some power tools
- Test and calibrate systems per documentation
- Complete test data records as required
- Perform basic troubleshooting and repairs as appropriate
- Build and repair production test equipment as appropriate
Qualifications
The Production Technician position requires certain skills and personal characteristics and a
well- qualified candidate will demonstrate:
- Thoroughness and accuracy in building and soldering
- Excellent personal organization
- A strong desire and capacity to learn
- An understanding of basic electronics
- Production oriented (i.e. organized, accurate and efficient)
- Familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to work effectively with people at all levels
- Perpetually opportunity-minded and enjoys continuous process improvement
Although not required, a background in electronics and/or the ability to perform fundamental
electronics troubleshooting is definitely a plus.
