JOB SUMMARY:
Maintain lobby and public space areas, as assigned by management, in a clean and orderly condition according to standard procedures in a safe, accident-free manner.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Training housekeepers on cleaning basic maintenance tasks and recycling, water, and energy conservation
- Be well-groomed and ready to work
- Check and maintain guest restrooms clean at all times
- Use the proper and right cleaning products
- Maintain guest hallways and carpets in public spaces clean
- Clean outside guest elevators, doors, and frames
- Clean and restock the business center with guest supplies. Pens, note-pads. etc.
- Reorganize and restock cabinets in the public areas restrooms
- Maintain Employee Locker rooms (Men) and (Females)clean at all times
- Check Stairwells for debris. Sweep and Mop when needed
- Clean all executive offices
- Clean behind the front desk and Concierge
- Maintain Gym clean and with fresh towels at all times
- Clean and maintain all areas that are assigned
- Maintain all glass panels and doors clean
- Help with guest deliveries
- Clean and empty all trash in lobby areas
- Reorganize and restock cabinets in the public areas restrooms.
- Clean and restock the business center with guest supplies. pens, note-pads. Etc.
- Report any problems immediately to the supervisor or department in charge
- check all working tools, ensuring they are in good working condition
OTHER DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure compliance with health and sanitation policies in all areas
- Adhere to all fire, safety, and security procedures according to hotel policy
- Adhere to all sustainability guidelines as per the Inspired by Nature Program

- Mobility - will be walking in the public space cleaning all day - 8-hour shift.
- Continuous standing - will be on feet for an 8-hour shift cleaning and doing projects in the public space.
- Must be able to stand and walk continuously throughout the shift
- Must be able to stoop and bend
- Must be able to lift 10-20 lbs
- Must be able to use medium to heavy chemicals
- Able to maintain a pleasant, clean environment for guests

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous work experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role
- Hands-on experience with cleaning and maintenance tasks for large organizations
- A high school diploma is a plus

- There may be regular exposure to mild discomfort from factors such as dust, odors, extreme temperature, inclement weather, noise, or lights.
- While performing the duties of this job, the team member will be regularly required to walk, stand, and sit. The associate will occasionally be required to climb and use the balance. Additionally, the team member will frequently be asked to use their hands and arms to carry and lift items. Specific vision abilities required to perform this job include close vision and distance vision. The work environment characteristics described here represent those a team member encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
- While performing the duties of this job, the team member may experience temperature fluctuations and moderate to high levels of noise. The team member will also come in contact with noxious and abrasive chemicals that must be handled properly to ensure the safety of the team member and others.
