Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various settings, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to ensure high standards of hygiene.
- Dispose of waste and recyclables in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are stocked and in good working condition.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols to meet organizational standards.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
- Good physical stamina; ability to lift heavy objects and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings or weekends if necessary.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies is a plus.
