We are looking for a Sanitation Worker to join our team in the warehouse. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all areas of the warehouse are kept clean and sanitary, including floors, walls, and equipment. This position requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work quickly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience in sanitation and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Uphold company safety rules and policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Operate Material Handling Equipment safely and capably after training.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks.
- Conduct inspections to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Respond to maintenance requests from staff and prioritize tasks accordingly.
- Clean and sanitize warehouse areas.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment.
- Empty trash containers and dispose of waste in accordance with safety regulations.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Janitorial experience
- Ability to perform heavy lifting
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning practices
- Previous custodial experience
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques
- Must be able to safely work in extreme cold environment.
