About Us:
All Glass 4 U is a family-owned business specializing in shower enclosures, glass shelving, mirrors, table tops, and more. We're expanding and looking for a dedicated Lead Installer/Glazier to manage a truck and helper, performing high-quality glass installations and repairs for residential and commercial clients.
Position Overview:
As a Lead Shower Door Installer/Glazier, you will be responsible for overseeing installations, repairs, and custom glass work. You’ll ensure each project is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards of craftsmanship, while providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team on the installation of custom shower doors and enclosures
- Repair single and double-pane windows
- Cut, polish, and install mirrors
- Cut and install glass for cabinet doors
- Measure, cut, and install glass shelving and table tops
- Ensure all installations meet customer expectations and industry standards
- Troubleshoot issues on-site and manage customer concerns
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring the customer’s home or business is left in pristine condition
What to Expect in This Role:
- Inspect materials to ensure correct size, style, and condition for each job.
- Load installation vehicle with all necessary tools, materials, paperwork, and safety equipment.
- Communicate with the office and customers about any delays or scheduling issues.
- Confirm work details, product placement, and time estimates upon arrival at the site.
- Install products per the work order, troubleshoot any issues, and resolve problems on-site.
- Document and follow up on incomplete work, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the team on reorders and managing expectations for ongoing projects.
- Leave the job site cleaner than found, respecting the customer's home or business.
- Review product care, warranties, and service information with the customer after installation.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in glass installation and glazing
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to read blueprints and accurately measure for installations
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Customer-focused with strong communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
