About The Role
The In Room Dining Attendant is responsible for setting up in-room dining food orders in a timely manner.
Position Responsibilities
- Restocking silverware, plates, linen, condiments and beverages
- Dressing tables, folding napkins, refilling ice buckets
- Clearing and cleaning tables and trays from guest rooms or hallways
- Completes all set-up and closing duties in a timely fashion
- Adheres to state liquor laws
- Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility
Essential Functions
- The ability to use hands and arms to push in room dining carts weighing up to 35lb at least 20 times per day
- The ability to lift hot boxes waist and chest high weighing up to 30lbs at least 20times per day
- Shift assignments may be irregular, and will cover days, nights, weekends and holidays
What's Required
- Minimum of 6 months' experience as a food server in high volume and/or fine dining environments.
- Ability to work in a high pressure environment
- Ability to effectively communicate in English
- High School Diploma or equivalent
