Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Bus Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for maintaining a clean and organized environment. Looking for one cleaner to work Friday through Sunday working 4am to 12pm.
Responsibilities
- Must feel comfortable backing buses into a car wash bay safely on a daily basis (will receive training)
- Primary responsibility is to maintain all aspects of cleanliness for the buses both internal and external
- Restock the buses, as necessary to include, but not limited to, toilet paper, paper towels, hand sanitizer, air fresheners, etc
- Deep clean buses every three weeks (each shift will deep clean one or two buses per week) to continually improve the cleanliness.
- Perform cleaning duties such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other designated areas
- Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal of waste
- Log all cleaning tasks including pictures for accountability
- Log and report any lost belongings
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies
- Notify management of any damages or repairs needed
- Assist with additional tasks as needed
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Previous experience in custodial or cleaning roles is a plus
- Knowledge of car wash, buffing techniques is advantageous
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 per week
