About the role
The Spa Attendant retrieves, delivers, stores and sets up all guest supplies, linen and amenities throughout the spa including locker rooms, relaxation room, fitness, and spa reception and ensures immaculate presentation of these areas. Makes guests feel welcomed, comfortable, and well taken care of by handling all guest interactions promptly and efficiently; accommodating special requests, resolving guest complaints, and assisting guests in all inquiries related to all spa, retail products, fitness center, and other hotel services.
What you will do
- Greet guests and assist with their arrival, providing a tour of the facilities with locker assignment. Advise guests of how to use each facility and any equipment.
- Meet guests post treatment and provides refreshment options.
- Clean and maintain locker room area continuously; wipe areas, mop up wet areas, remove towels. Retrieve and drop off all linens to and from the laundry department.
- Ensure adequate supply of all guest items including linen and amenities throughout the spa including locker rooms, relaxation room, fitness, spa reception refreshment station and ensure immaculate presentation of these areas.
- Complete daily opening and closing checklists by walking and ensuring all areas on the spa level are well maintained, stocked and cleaned.
What you bring
- Prior Spa experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
- Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Strong time management skills: ability to multi-task, set priorities, and adjust to changing conditions. Willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work closely with other departments and communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and guests.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 20 lbs.
