Schedule: Monday through Friday with a firm 4:00pm start time. This is a 4-hour cleaning position, ending at 8:00pm
Responsibilities:
- Perform general and deep cleaning duties in a highly secured court building
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Dust and wipe down surfaces
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, holding cells, public areas, private offices, kitchen areas and break rooms
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap
- Clean windows and glass surfaces
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Experience:
- 2 Years of previous experience in commercial cleaning required
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English and communicate with Court administrators as needed.
Candidates will be sent to Royal Oak Police Dept to participate in a full background check, including fingerprinting, prior to offer of employment. Candidate must not have history of, or current issues with, felonies, misdemeanors, warrants (including traffic) ROPD and the 44th District Court has final determination of job placement.
