Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and sanitary environment in various settings, in Ambulatory Surgical Facilities. This position requires a strong commitment to cleanliness, safety, and adherence to industry standards.

Duties

Perform routine cleaning tasks in assigned areas, ensuring all surfaces are clean and sanitized.
Conduct floor care activities, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness.
Utilize appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment while following OSHA regulations for safety.
Ensure that all areas are properly stocked with necessary supplies and report any shortages.
Collaborate with the environmental services team to uphold high standards of cleanliness in the facility.
Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing to prevent the spread of infections, especially in hospital settings.
Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities as required by facility protocols.

Skills

Proven experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred.
Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify areas needing improvement.
Familiarity with environmental services practices in healthcare settings is a plus.
Understanding of sanitation standards and procedures.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes.
