About The Moore
The Moore is a landmark destination in the Miami Design District, comprised of a private members club, hotel and a collection of restaurants, retail, exhibition, event and office space. Housed in the District’s circa-1922 Moore building, the reimagined, nearly 90,000-square-foot space integrates two, four-story structures located at the intersection of NE 40th Street and NE 2nd Avenue, and includes Elastika, the site-specific commission created by the late artist and architect Zaha Hadid for the inaugural Design Miami/ exhibition in 2005.
The redevelopment of The Moore is led by boutique hospitality firm and operator, WoodHouse. Founded by entrepreneur Brady Wood, WoodHouse creates, owns and operates experiential concepts, ranging from private clubs, restaurants and hotels to live music and entertainment venues.

Job Overview:
The Housekeeping Supervisor will oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction at our boutique hotel in the vibrant Design District. This role requires a hands-on leader who is detail-oriented, passionate about hospitality, and experienced in managing a small team to maintain an impeccable guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead the housekeeping team.
- Provide training and guidance to team members, ensuring adherence to hotel standards.
- Schedule and allocate daily housekeeping tasks to ensure rooms, public areas, and facilities are clean and presentable.
- Inspect guest rooms, corridors, and public spaces to ensure they meet the hotel's cleanliness and aesthetic standards.
- Address and resolve guest complaints regarding housekeeping services in a timely manner.
- Ensure the proper use and care of cleaning equipment and materials.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities.
- Place orders for additional supplies as needed and ensure timely replenishment.
- Ensure that all housekeeping activities comply with safety and sanitation regulations.
- Maintain proper storage and usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Work closely with the Front Desk, Maintenance, and Management teams to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Report any maintenance issues or room discrepancies to the appropriate department for
- Participate in hiring and onboarding new housekeeping team members.
- Provide continuous performance feedback and identify opportunities for staff development and advancement.
Qualifications:
· Previous experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor in a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred.
· Strong leadership and organizational skills with attention to detail.
· Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
· Knowledge of housekeeping processes, health and safety standards, and quality control.
· Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
· Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
