Job Overview
High Country Linen Service has been proudly serving Teton County for over 93 years and we are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Manager for our Janitorial & Supply Store to join our team! The ideal candidate will be someone with at least a 2-year Associates Degree, at least 2 years of managerial experience, and excellent communication skills. This role requires basic inventory management, experience with Microsoft Office applications, and general math skills . Cleaning product knowledge preferred.
Duties
- Exhibit knowledge of products and product pricing
- Keep VP of Sales apprised of inventory needs.
- Keep paper and storage areas clean and organized
- Establish & maintain positive customer relationships
- Pull items from storage to stock in store for customers
- Professionally & safely deliver products to customers
- Assist customers in anticipating & recognizing current and future needs
- Coordinate with staff to ensure store is kept clean and presentable
- Accurately and immediately address inventory and/or billing errors
- Ensure timely price changes to accurate and consistent prices
- Efficiently maintain records of changes to orders
- Maintain open and professional communication with senior management
- Communicate professionally and courteously with vendors, partners, and other staff
- Provide feedback and suggestions for positive company improvements
Qualifications
- Two-year Associates Degree required
- Computer skills required, to include Word, Excel, Outlook, and general internet experience.
- Excellent communication skills required.
- Basic inventory management concepts required.
- General math skills required. Must also be able to calculate figures and amounts to include adjustments and percentages.
- Time management skills are required. Must be able to organize and prioritize tasks, while being flexible enough to integrate duties with unexpected tasks that occur throughout the day.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may involve sitting, walking , bending, and standing for extended periods. Must also be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs.
- A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness and enhancing facility appearance.
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age and have a valid drivers license.
- Must be insurable through High Country Linen's vehicle insurance. This is determined by a clean Motor Vehicle Report that is free of any DUI's, reckless driving, etc.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred, but not required.
STARTING PAY: $28 - $30 per hour
BENEFITS: Eligibility for benefits occurs on the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment.
- Medical & Dental: Employee only coverage is 100% company paid. Family coverage is 50% company paid.
