Job Description

Established Janitorial Services Company, Sea Crest Facilities Services, is currently hiring for a Full-Time, Bilingual (English/Spanish) Janitorial Site Supervisor position; this position will be based in Los Angeles Downtown Hollywood.

Janitorial experience is a must $18.50to $19.50 x hour depending on experience, certifications and technical skills such, pressure washer, strip and wax, etc.

English and Spanish speaking is a must.

Supervisor or Management experience is a must

Daytime position, work will be performed in a large multi-family/apartment community. In addition, professionalism, attention to detail, strong communication and dependability are of the utmost importance to be successful in any Sunset position. Managing staff of 7-8 staff members for a multi-family buildings, working closely with property management and their service managers and community managers is must.

Schedule:

Days: Monday-Friday but must be available to work weekends if needed.

Schedule: 7:00 am - 4:00 pm

Essential Duties & Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

Computer skills is a must - Ability to work with Excel and Outlook
Ability to put together schedules and spreadsheets
Experience supervising/leading medium to large size team (7-8 personnel)
Assist in keeping record of shifts activities
Assist in Timekeeping/Payroll Reporting
Assist in keeping track of inventory
Must be able to function as the leader of a crew day to day tasks, using high level of professionalism and communication skills.
Respond to building requests as instructed & assign tasks to crew & report back to customer.
Monitor lobby, corridors, elevators and stairwells for cleanliness.
Empty trash containers.
Remove debris from floor.
Clean toilets/sinks as needed.
Occasional clean-up of human and pet waste and other body fluids, if necessary.
Fill paper towel, toilet paper and soap dispensers as needed.
Clean any spills as needed.
Set out rain mats on rainy days; keep in clean condition.
Clear fingerprints/marks from glass doors/mirrors.
Perform detail dusting, vacuuming and mopping as needed.
Follow all safety and personnel rules, policies and regulations.
Provided assistance on onboarding new hires, and interviewing process.

Requirements & Qualifications:

· Bilingual (English/Spanish) - REQUIRED

· 1-3 years of Supervising with Janitorial experience. Able to lift 35 lbs. and carry a 12 lbs. backpack vacuum cleaner. Experience with pressure washing, carpet cleaning and project management is required.

· Physically able to be on your feet during an entire shift; walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and crouching.

· Self-motivated, as well as, ability to work in a team environment.

· Must be organized and able to follow a schedule

· Must have ability to work with little to no supervision and be able to independently determine tasks to complete daily.
