Job Summary
The Human Resources Generalist will be comfortable dealing with both day-to-day issues in all areas of human resource matters, as well as atypical issues and problems relating to compensation, benefits, discipline, FMLA, etc.This position may be assigned a wide range of duties and projects as needed.

Essential Functions, Duties And Responsibilities
- Follow the Standards of Excellence and models this to all employees and patients.
- Data Entry and reporting in the HRIS and Benefit Management systems.
- Manages timekeeping system – adjusting as needed to timecards, user profiles, etc.
- Meets with new employees to collect required pre-employment paperwork and coordinates with Employee Health RN to complete PPD and required drug screen.
- Assists with compensation, benefits, workers’ compensation, wage surveys, FMLA, improvement projects and Compliance 360.
- Oversee Travelers and Student programs.
- Data collection for Employee Health.
- Enters new employees and changes into Lawson HR/payroll system. Runs reports in Lawson.
- Conducts New Employee Orientation in the absence of the HR Talent Acquisition Specialist.
- Responds to any HR requests that come thru the HR general phone number and email or delegates this to the appropriate person.
- Office supply ordering.
- Completes verification for employment forms as needed.
- Making new employee name badges.
- Assist HR Director

QUALIFICATIONS (Required)
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years’ experience in customer service and administrative duties.
- Excellent Computer skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Ability to remain calm, courteous, and respectful in stressful situations.
- Positive upbeat attitude and ability to be flexible with workload and work schedule.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS, Microsoft Office Suite and talent management system.
