Job Overview:
The Warehouse Worker Lead is responsible for building orders, checking built loads for accuracy, loading/unloading trucks, and everyday cleaning. This is a leadership role to other Warehouse personnel.
Shift & Schedule: This is a full time position on 3rd shift working 10:00pm to 6:30am, Monday-Friday. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends and holidays as scheduled is required.
Position Responsibilities
- Responsible for checking built loads for accuracy, loading trucks, and unloading trucks.
- May load route trucks and semi-trailers with propane or battery-operated forklift and/or pallet jack, moving product in and out of the warehouse as required.
- May need to perform general housekeeping duties in the warehouse and other duties as assigned.
- Directs daily work flow of a team.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred
- 1 year of warehouse experience.
- Ability to work while standing, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, kneeling and lifting for the entire duration of the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. throughout the entire shift from floor to over-head.
- Ability to hand shrink wrap pallets of completed orders.
- Ability to work in multi-temperature environments, hot or cool.
Total Rewards:
- Compensation: Pay starting at $23.34 per hour. The employee will move to a higher rate of $24.62 per hour in the quarter after their 6 month anniversary.
