Family in Coconut Grove, FL is looking to hire a houseman for their 9k sq ft home sitting on almost half an acre of land. Schedule would be 5 days per week, 8 hours per day. Houseman will be responsible for maintaining the home and grounds, performing walk throughs, ensuring all areas are properly cleaned, identifying areas for repair, dealing with contractors & vendors, other houseman duties.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to;
- Ensuring the property is secure and safe at all times. Walkthrough and inspect all areas
- Maintenance around the home (change AC filters monthly, light bulbs, changing ice maker & fridge filter, ensure all drains are unblocked etc.)
- Cleaning windows, washing/power washing the deck, driveway & stairs.
- Light pool and landscape maintenance in between contractor visits (Cleaning & racking leaves etc.)
- Washing the cars
- Identifying and noting areas for repair
- Supervising household vendors
- Organizing storages and gym areas
- Handling deliveries
- Assisting the housekeeper with tasks (Deep cleaning carpets and upholstery, cleaning mirrors, glass light fixtures or exhaust fan etc.)
- Driving the family to appointments, restaurants, running errands, and doing the odd school run as needed
- All other houseman related duties
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years houseman experience with verifiable references
- Experience working in high-end homes
- Great communicator. Problem solver, proactive.
Compensation & Benefits: $30 to $35 per hour. PTO, Other benefits TBD
