Affordable Building Services is looking for a professional individual with a strong work ethic to manage our onsite crews and Subcontractors at a prestigious, resort style facility in Somerset County. This is a multiple building site which operates around the clock.
The cleaning crews work overnight and into the morning, 7 days per week. The successful candidate will be required to be onsite overnights and attend daytime management meetings alongside the account manager when required.
· Maintain close contact with the ABS corporate Operations Management, and liaison with the client facility management on site
· Conduct nightly inspections of the facilities prior to the end of the shift to ensure that all services are being provided, and that the entire scope of work in each building is being completed nightly as directed
· Oversee and ensure proper use and care of equipment, supplies and repairs
· Coordinate with the main office to make sure that all supplies are available on site on a daily basis
· Assist with personnel management, including searching for and interviewing prospective staff
· Compute and document weekly employee work hours, and monitor and track employee attendance
· Assist in scheduling to make sure that all crews are staffed with a crew leader and cleaners 7 nights per week
· The Custodial Services Site Manager is a frontline supervisor with bottom line responsibility for achieving excellent results in an extremely upscale detail-oriented environment on a daily basis
· The Site Manager is responsible for the performance of the assigned staff and the quality of the services provided throughout the facility, including covering positions as needed
· Must be able to staff and complete recurring daily tasks, and to track and complete weekly and monthly periodic tasks
· The candidate must have strong oral and written communication skills, and the ability to communicate with all levels throughout the organization
· The Site Manager will be required to communicate with employees in Spanish if needed
· Working knowledge of email, excel, word and phone applications on their smart phone
· Bilingual in Spanish and English
· High School diploma or equivalent
· Knowledge of cleaning equipment and chemicals
· Valid drivers license with a good driving record
· Five years of experience in facility janitorial operations
· Associate or bachelor’s degree a plus
· Must be available to work holidays as needed
Salary will be $50,000 to $55,000 depending on experience, with the potential for a yearly performance bonus based on meeting set KPI’s.
