Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in specific cleaning environments such as private homes, hotels, industrial settings, or hospitality. We are open to having you full time in our Long Island home and also coming back to Manhattan as a possibility during the week (living arrangements would be provided).

Responsibilities:

- Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Sweep, mop, vacuum floors, and dust surfaces
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms and restock supplies
- Make beds, change linens, and organize rooms
- Handle laundry and ironing duties as needed
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Follow all health and safety regulations

- help with arranging contractor visits

- help with kids (pickup, activities, some studying)

- MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE with good record and driving skills

Experience:

- Previous experience in housekeeping management or related field preferred
- Knowledge of hospitality cleaning techniques is a plus
- Familiarity with home care methods and equipment
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks
- Experience in custodial or hospitality roles is beneficial
