We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Janitor / Groundskeeper to join our team at our main warehouse. This role is essential in ensuring our operations run smoothly by providing a well-maintained and safe workplace for all employees.
- Interior Cleaning: Wash windows and mirrors, take out trash and recycling, wipe down and sanitize surfaces in common areas and offices, and clean, sanitize, and stock restrooms.
- Floor Maintenance: Sweep, mop, polish, and vacuum floors using common cleaning tools and equipment.
- Organization: Maintain and organize the janitor’s closet, ensuring all supplies and tools are stored properly.
- Minor Repairs: Perform minor repairs such as changing lightbulbs and unclogging toilets. Notify the General Manager when major repairs are required.
- Safety Compliance: Promote a safety-first mindset and work environment by following all safety rules and precautions.
- Documentation: Fill out the janitorial Master Cleaning checklists at the end of every shift.
- Execute any additional tasks assigned by leadership.
- Ability to work independently with strong time management skills.
- Follows both written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Collaborates effectively with others, including maintenance workers.
- Capable of handling the physical demands of the job, including standing and walking for most of the shift, bending, climbing, and lifting at least 50 pounds.
- Hours: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
- Days: Monday - Friday
- Type: Full-time position.
- Compensation - $17.00- $21.00
