ABOUT HOTEL SAINT VINCENT (STV):
Located in a landmark 1861 building in the Lower Garden District of New Orleans, Hotel Saint Vincent is a 75-room hotel from Austin-based hospitality group McGuire Moorman Lambert Hospitality, a hotel started in 2021 by industry veterans Larry McGuire, Tom Moorman, and Liz Lambert. An architectural icon in the Lower Garden District since its conception in the 1860s, the red brick Beaux Arts-era style building was originally founded as The Saint Vincents Infant Asylum by Irish immigrant Margaret Haughery, a bakery owner and philanthropist celebrated for her humanitarian services in New Orleans. Keeping much of the original architecture, Hotel Saint Vincent honors the propertys storied past and Margarets legacy through a highly considered restorationincorporating an elegant, modern design that complements the propertys historic character.

Job Summary:
Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments. Identify and report preventative or maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms. Performs any combination of the following tasks to maintain guest rooms, working areas, and the hotel premises in a general clean and orderly manner.
Responsibilities:
Service hotel public areas to the required standard
Use a checklist and sign off on areas completed
Report any maintenance issues
Respond to special requests
Replenish guest supplies
Assist with any tasks assigned by the Supervisors as and when needed
The Public Area Attendant ensures the cleanliness and perfection of the guest areas of the resort and other cleaning duties as assigned.
Keeps all public areas neat, vacuumed, and dusted. Makes sure mirrors, furniture, floors, ashtrays, elevators, and doors are clean and mark-free. Removes all trash from areas.
Clean lobby and employee breakroom
Deliver towels to the laundry for cleaning
Effectively communicate with room attendants to ensure efficient and timely cleaning of guest rooms.
Perform all duties by brand standards and with emphasis on meeting or exceeding guest expectations.
Performs any other duties as requested by the supervisor.
