Job Description:
Gorilla Repairs is seeking a motivated individual who has extensive experience with property maintenance and upkeep. Having intermediate handyman abilities is a must. The ideal candidate has a willingness to learn, a self-starter mindset, and the ability to manage projects without significant oversight. The Handyman will be responsible for performing a variety of repair and maintenance tasks at residential and commercial properties. This includes but is not limited to electrical work, general repairs, and preventive maintenance.
We have also included cleaning in this job posting because the successful candidate will have a willingness to clean properties as maintenance is being performed.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance checks and inspections of properties to identify any issues or potential problems.
- Perform repairs and maintenance tasks such as fixing leaky faucets, and repairing electrical fixtures.
- Complete general handyman tasks including painting, carpentry, and minor repairs.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies from clients.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance tasks.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates on work progress and recommendations for maintenance.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a handyman/maintenance manager or similar role.
- Full time availability including weekends
- Access to own vehicle (truck or van preferred)
- Complete toolset
- Ability to fix broken items
- Basic plumbing knowledge
- Basic appliance repair knowledge
- Positive attitude
- Proficiency in electrical work, and general repairs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in maintenance-related fields is a plus.
