The ideal BWI Janitor will have a minimum of 1+ Years of property cleaning experience and have a good knowledge and understanding of the following requirements and responsibilities.
Associated Tasks:
• Vacuum carpeted areas and spot clean when needed
• Clean and disinfect restrooms and public areas
• Empty trash and recycle receptacles into the appropriate waste bins and ensure that receptacles are kept clean and free of smells
• Clean, dust, and polish furniture, fixtures, floors, and other hard-to-reach areas with appropriate cleaning supplies
• Perform interior window, mirrors, and glass cleaning to ensure they are free of streaks
• Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment
• Inform property manager of anything that is broken or not functioning correctly so that the issue is resolved promptly
• Stock and Maintain cleaning supplies
• Loads and unloads equipment and tools into work vehicles
• Follows written and verbal instructions from the property manager
• Follow safety regulations
• Perform additional duties as needed
Experience/Skills
• Proven cleaner experience
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Valid Driver License
• Ability to lift 20 lbs. for short periods of time
• Must be physically capable of performing 8 hours of physical work each day
• Self-starter with the ability to maintain focus while working individually
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills
• Possess a strong attention to detail
• Professional presentation and attitude
• Strong time management skills and Interpersonal skills
Training/Education
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
