Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher / Kitchen Steward to join our team. The Kitchen Steward will be responsible for washing dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, supporting food preparation, and ensuring a sanitary environment.
Essential Functions
· Washes and sorts all dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans by hand or using a commercial dishwasher.
· Maintains a clean and organized kitchen including shelves, coolers, freezers, chemicals cleaning supplies room, and all prep areas.
· Places and stores clean equipment, dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans in assigned storage areas
· Maintains clean handwashing sink stations and keeps stations stocked with paper towels and soap at all times.
· Stocks serving stations, cupboards, and other areas with necessary dishes and utensils
· Ensures closing cleaning duties are followed and successfully executed, floors, walls and ceilings are clean, as well as vent hoods, vent hood filters, countertops, ranges, ovens, fryers, all portable outdoors cooking equipment, dry, neatly plastic wrapped and put away on designated areas.
· Basic preparation of food ingredients
· Other duties as assigned.
Education/Qualifications
· High School diploma or equivalent
· Attention to detail to ensure every dish is spotless
· Must be a team player and work well with other team members
· Dependability and passion are a must
Work Environment/Physical Requirements
· Must have physical strength and stamina to work extended periods as needed
· Must be able to stand for extended periods
· Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
· Position requires the ability to reach with hands and arms, and use hands to handle or feel, stand, or balance and stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, walk, and sit
· Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
· Must be able and willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
