Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a Cleaner to join our team. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our facilities (Schaumburg and Park Ridge IL). This is an important role in ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for both employees and visitors.
Duties:
- Perform general cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when supplies need to be replenished
- Follow established procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
- Perform floor care duties such as buffing, waxing, and polishing
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in commercial or industrial cleaning preferred
- Knowledge of custodial practices and procedures
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
