Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Press Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of press machinery to produce high-quality components. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.

Duties

Operate press machines to shape and cut materials according to specifications.
Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Conduct quality inspections of finished products using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and gauges.
Utilize hand tools and machinery, including plasma cutting and laser cutting equipment, for various tasks.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes.
Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations.
Document production data and report any discrepancies or defects.

Skills

Proficient in operating hand tools and machinery related to press operations.
Experience with plasma cutting, electrical discharge machining, and laser cutting techniques.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex machinery.
Familiarity with quality inspection processes and precision measuring instruments.
Ability to operate cranes safely for material handling purposes.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team setting.
