Job Summary:
The Recreation Attendant is responsible for assisting with the planning and delivering of public recreation activities for guests of the hotel/resort.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- There's no specific educational background for the job as you can learn about it while working.
- Experience in administering first aid is preferred.
- Must have excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have excellent medical and physical fitness
- Must be able to work outdoors for 6 or more hours in varying extreme weather conditions
- Must have pleasant personality and cheerful disposition
- Must have open availability, weekends, holidays, and evenings to accommodate special events.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitoring pool area and continuously observing the pool area to ensure guest safety and adherence to facility rules and regulations.
- Politely but firmly enforce pool and facility rules to ensure the safety and comfort of all guests.
- Respond quickly and effectively to any incidents or emergencies, documenting them as required.
- Greet guests upon arrival, provide information about the facility and its services, and answer any questions they may have.
- Guests that are participating in planned recreational and sporting activities introducing them to other participants and explaining facility rules.
- Assist with organizing and overseeing recreational activities and events.
- Address and resolve guest concerns or complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
- Ensure the pool area, including decks, lounges, and restrooms, is clean and well-maintained.
- Monitor and replenish supplies for servers such as cleaning up after guests and restocking pool towels.
- Inspect and maintain pool equipment, such as safety gear and cleaning supplies, to ensure operations are in good working order.
- Assist the hotel or resort staff in managing the daily operations of recreational facilities.

- Attentive: Keen attention to detail, especially regarding safety and cleanliness.
- Friendly: Warm and welcoming attitude towards guests.
- Professional: Maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
- Environment: Primarily outdoors, often in hot and humid conditions.
