SPECIAL NOTES:
High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Preference:
- Prior housekeeping experience.
- Able to lift and carry 40 lbs. for a short period of time.
Valid driver’s license required during employment.
The work hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm., with Fridays being a requirement. Some weekends 9:00 am to 5:00 pm may be required.
This position will be filled at $15.00 per hour.
Employees of the Department of Financial Services are paid on a monthly pay cycle.
This position requires a security background check, including fingerprint as a condition of employment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING REQUIRED ENTRY LEVEL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to lift 40lbs.
- Ability to perform physical labor that requires standing, bending, and lifting.
- Housekeeping abilities to include vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, and cleaning of restrooms.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning and sanitizing procedures.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- General knowledge, experience using a PC.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
- Cleans, sweeps, mops, vacuum floors, trash removal of classrooms, hallways, auditorium, multi- purpose rooms, small storage rooms, and offices.
- Maintains cleanliness of the dormitories throughout the facilities
- Cleaning of restrooms throughout the facility as well as laundry room.
- Assist in proper setup of furnishings for special activities.
- Performs minor maintenance tasks as needed to include minor painting, plunging of toilets and small drains, cleaning air conditioner filters and other related functions.
- Ensures general cleanliness of facilities.
- Use of PC for daily paperwork entries, submitting weekly time sheets.
- Performs other related work as required.
