Beaver Toyota St. Augustine is seeking a full-time, experienced, custodian to join our team.
The responsibilities of this position include cleaning (sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, etc.), light maintenance activities (cleaning bathrooms and public areas), interacting with employees and customers to resolve cleaning issues, and performing other general custodial tasks as assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Sweep and mop floors and vacuum carpets
- Wash and sanitize toilets, sinks and showers and restock disposables (e.g. soap)
- Wipe mirrors and windows
- Empty all trash receptacles
- Identify and report major damages and items in need of repairs to maintenance
- Ensure office spaces are prepared for each day by vacuuming, tidying furniture dusting surfaces and removing trash
- Tidy and maintain break rooms, cleaning all surfaces and keeping sinks clean.
Hours:
This position requires a dedicated individual who can consistently work the following schedule to ensure our facility is impeccably maintained:
- Monday - Friday: 12pm-8pm
- Saturday & Sunday: OFF
Requirements and Skills:
- Proven experience as custodian, janitor or in a similar role
- Knowledge of use and maintenance of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances
- Knowledge of safe disposal of chemical liquids and other hazardous components
- Attention to detail
- Ability to lift 35 lbs
- Possess the physical endurance to cover a large space (car dealership) 5 days per week.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
