Full Time Janitorial Day Porter
Location: Arlington, TX
Schedule: Monday to Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
TBM seeks a full-time Day Porter to join our team and help us achieve the highest standards of cleanliness for a multi-generational church located in the heart of downtown Arlington.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a rock star, a go-getter with a positive, can-do attitude who excels in providing white-glove attention to detail. This is not just any ordinary cleaning position. We seek someone who takes pride in their work and is committed to maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to cleaning requests and ensure all areas are kept pristine.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness, ensuring all corners and crevices are free of dust and debris.
- Maintain adequate stock of paper products and other supplies.
- Ensure windows are spotless inside and out.
- Perform regular vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and other cleaning tasks.
- Police restrooms to ensure they are clean, well-maintained and odor-free.
- Remove trash, replace liners, and take trash and recyclables to outdoor dumpsters.
- Assist the maintenance department with tasks such as moving heavy items.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in providing high-level, top-notch cleaning services.
- Strong customer service focus and willingness to help.
- Ability to stay busy and manage time effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Conversational English-speaking skills and good communication abilities.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Must pass the DHHS background check and fingerprinting process before the first day.
- Physical ability to assist in moving heavy objects, perform various cleaning duties and ability to walk long distances.
