HVAC Sales - Sizeable Bonuses
Custom Climate is a successful and long tenured air conditioning, heating and indoor air quality provider in Sarasota and Manatee County. We are searching for experienced and successful technicians with proven sales results that sell in a manager that treats customer with honesty and respect. The successful candidate will be currently selling at least $750,000 a year. We have an incentive compensation system that should increase your overall earnings.
Job Duties
This job requires performing preventative maintenance procedures on air conditioning equipment for our customers and cross selling needed repairs, replacement equipment, indoor air quality products, ductwork replacements, duct cleanings and blown in insulation. Compensation will be maximized if you can perform your own repair work.
Bonuses and incentives are available for adding new customers in the following areas: residential builders, general contractors, commercial properties, property managers. Bringing in new business such as this is not required, however, bonuses are available if you can do this.
Work Experience
HVAC sales or service experience is required with recent annual sales of at least $750,000, which should include many of the areas below.
- 16+ SEER systems
- Inverter Systems
- High End residential properties
- IAQ products such as UV light kits, air purifiers, etc...
- Blown in insulation.
- Duct replacement
- Duct Cleaning
Compensation and Benefits

This role requires:
- Must have knowledge, tools and skills to perform preventative maintenance procedures
- Articulate in speech and clean and educated appearance
- Ability to talk successfully with high net-worth individuals
- Selling style that treats customers with honesty, kindness and respect.
- Explain technical issues to customers in a way they can understand
- Comfortable with technology and has ability to use software in the field including dispatch software, quoting software and processing customer payments via mobile devices.
- Team player who gets along well with other employees and genuinely wants others around him or her to do well
Education and other requirements
- Bachelors, Associates or pursuing college would be a positive
- EPA Section 608 II Certification is mandatory
- Valid drivers license and a proven record of safe driving. A motor vehicle records check will be performed prior to you beginning employment.
- Background check will be performed.
- A DUI within last 60 months or a felony record is a deal breaker
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
