General Overview:
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and ensuring a smooth flow of operations. You'll be working alongside our Executive Chef and Sous Chef. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Functions:
- Dishwashing:
- Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans.
- Hand wash delicate items or those that cannot be cleaned in the dishwasher.
- Kitchen Maintenance:
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dishwashing area.
- Empty trash bins regularly and ensure waste is disposed of properly.
- Support for Kitchen Staff:
- Assist kitchen staff in basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling and chopping vegetables.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Restocking:
- Restock clean dishes, utensils, and kitchenware in their designated storage areas.
- Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as needed.
- Adherence to Health and Safety Standards:
- Follow proper sanitation and safety procedures, including the use of protective gear.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
Major Responsibilities / Specific Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Dishwasher or in a similar role is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift/carry items.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience cleaning a commercial kitchen is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to acquire a valid Texas Food Handler Card within thirty (30) days of hiring.

Physical Requirements:
- Must be physically able to audit/inspect store sites including walking properties, bending, stretching, squatting, and kneeling.
- Be able to reach, bend, and frequently lift 30 pounds.
- Must have the stamina to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Must be able to stand for periods of up to eight (8) hours.
- Must be able to lift fifty (50) pounds at a time. Required to use assistance when available i.e. hand trucks, ramps, or another team member.
