Summary:
Provides an awesome client/pet experience while driving sales through outstanding service. Bather will need to support the groomer on shift to ensure they are able to efficiently groom clients. Bather will need to be proficient, have high quality standards and utilize good time management skill. Bather will be scheduled for thier own appointments.
- Greeting customers warmly while determining their needs
- Bathing, Drying, Brushing, Ear Cleaning, Nail Trimming and Teeth Brushing
- Completing walk in services promptly and to company standards
- Maintain groomer IO for pet vaccinations, appointment cancellations or other impacts
- Review all documentation is complete on behalf of the groomer
- Take photos before and after the services
- Answer phone calls, return calls, book appointments, provide quality customers service in varied situations
- Check in appointments
- Cleaning of all grooming areas to maintain a sanitary environment
- Solicits input and discussion from pet parent and encourages up sales in services
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Some experience is preferred or willingness to learn proper bathing techniques to gain experience.
- Passion for extraordinary customer service and the well-being of pets
- Must be comfortable working with animals, especially large and small dogs
- Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly, upbeat manner
- Compassion and patience while working with dogs
- Strong attention to detail to ensure dogs stay safe and grooming comes out looking great
- Must be reliable team player with positive attitude, enthusiastic and must have great work ethic
