The Housekeeper assists with maintaining clean and organized facilities.
Essential Functions:
- Ensure the buildings provide a welcoming environment
- Ensure day to day standards of cleanliness, tidiness and suitability for occupancy of all rooms
- Reports any observed or known safety hazards, conditions, or unsafe practices to management
- Performs routine daily cleaning of assigned rooms; change bed linens; replaces towels; cleans bathrooms thoroughly; vacuums, mops, and dusts daily; cleans kitchen areas.
- Maintains integrity when cleaning patients' rooms
- Ensures that all garbage from waste baskets and trash are removed and disposed of properly.
- Keep rooms supplied with paper towels, toile paper and soap
- Inspect all areas of maintenance issues and report to supervisor
- Utilize custodial supplies according to safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- At least one year of housekeeping experience
