Normal Working Hours: Tues-Sat, 5:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

General Description:

Routine manual work in the cleaning and upkeep of various offices and other areas.

Essential Job Functions:

Empties trash cans. Keeps grounds clean of trash.

Cleans restrooms.

Sweeps; mops; buffs; and waxes floors. Vacuums offices and floors.

. Performs minor unskilled maintenance work. Changes light bulbs.

Moves furniture and dusts.

Performs setups for special events and Community Center reservations.

Orders cleaning supplies.

Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include weekends; evenings and holidays

Minimum Qualifications:

High school graduation or possession of an acceptable equivalency diploma.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of cleaning fluids and chemicals.

Ability to prioritize tasks at hand.

Ability to perform manual labor.

Ability to work alone.

Skill in using simple hand tools.
