Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role involves a mix of commercial and industrial cleaning tasks, along with general custodial duties.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and buffing floors to maintain a polished appearance.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas to ensure hygiene standards are met.
Maintain cleanliness in both commercial and residential settings, adhering to established protocols for each environment.
Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify areas needing attention or maintenance.
Assist with basic facilities maintenance tasks as needed, ensuring that all equipment is functioning properly.
Handle waste disposal and recycling efforts efficiently and responsibly.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.

Requirements

Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred.
Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment operation is a plus.
Familiarity with floor care practices, including buffing and polishing, is desirable.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Good physical stamina; ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
Basic knowledge of facilities maintenance tasks is advantageous.
