Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Grill Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, particularly in kitchen environments, and possess a strong understanding of food preparation and service. As a Grill Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality grilled dishes while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of grilled items according to established recipes and menu specifications.
Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station and kitchen area.
Assist with menu planning by providing input on seasonal ingredients and dish ideas.
Operate kitchen equipment safely, including grills, fryers, and knives.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to the kitchen manager.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the dietary department.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the food industry or culinary environment is preferred.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods, particularly grilling.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various kitchen equipment.
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that satisfy customer expectations.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
