Yacht StarShip Dining Cruises & Events operates Florida's largest and premier fleet of dining and wedding yachts out of Tampa Channelside and Clearwater Marina. Our dining cruises consist of lunch and dinner, private events, corporate functions, social gatherings, beautiful weddings and much more.

Yacht StarShip also owns and operates Pirate Water Taxi with a fleet of water taxis offering hop on-hop off service at 15 stops along the Hillsborough River in downtown Tampa. The Bay Rocket jet boat thrill ride, Tampa Riverwalk Rentals offering bike, paddle board and kayak rentals, the Lost Pearl pirate ship offering pirate adventures and sunset cruises. As well as Craft, a European style 121-foot dining vessel is conveniently docked near Sparkman Wharf and offers premium dining experiences while cruising along the Hillsborough River and passing beneath the low bridges.

We are looking for energetic and passionate team member with a desire to grow, have fun, challenge themselves and join us in creating a wonderful guest experience.

Dishwashers ensure that wares for the front and back of the house are clean and sanitized.

Duties and Responsibilities

Wash all wares including pots, pans, flatware and glasses either by hand or using dishwashers.
Correctly place and store clean equipment, dishes and utensils in assigned storage areas.
Stock serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators and other assigned areas with necessary dishes and utensils.
Clean trash receptacles with water or steam.
Move dishwashing supplies and equipment from storage to work area by hand or using hand trucks.
May assist in cleaning and preparing various foods for cooking and/or serving, as directed.
Ensure work areas remain safe, clean and orderly, adhering to all company, local and state guidelines regarding health, safety and sanitation.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Remain alert and focused in an environment that is noisy and fast-paced.
Work effectively with kitchen staff.
Detail-oriented and thorough.
Must be able to work days, nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

Education and Experience

Previous experience as a restaurant dishwasher required.

Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods of standing and working in a kitchen.
Must be able to lift, balance and carry products weighing up to 25 pounds.
Must be able to work aboard a boat that is away from dock for several hours at a time.
Exposure to extreme heat, steam and cold present in a kitchen environment.
Must be able to bend, stoop, and wipe frequently.
Must frequently immerse hands in water.
Must be able to work in a hot and damp environment.
