About the role: The Packaging Operator is responsible for running the line of product in our manufacturing facility. This role keeps the product moving through the facility in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

Ensure the line is ready to run for product and all processes have been completed
Provide a clean manufacturing areas free of debris and dirt, cleaning as needed
Check that all product is sealed and stamped properly
Pack all boxes according to customer specifications and have the correct number and/or type of bottles per box
Stack boxes squarely on the pallet in the correct pattern so that equipment can properly wrap it
Exceed standards set for quality and timely delivery of completing tasks to achieve customer satisfaction.
Responsible for assisting with the quality control process of the product
During shutdowns, will clean and properly run a shut down process according to company standards
Provide support and complete other tasks as assigned in a timely and safe manner

Qualifications

High school diploma, GED or equivalent education
Previous work experience in a manufacturing, warehouse or production environment
Demonstrated ability to follow safety procedures and standards
Strong communication skills with other team members, both written and verbal
Ability to complete assigned training that is required by the company

Requirements

Must be able to lift or move up to 50 lbs
Must be able to operate machinery and lift, bend, stoop and reach
Must operate in a safe manner at all times
Must be able to walk, stand, and sit for extended periods of time
Must be able to communicate effectively with others
Must demonstrate regular attendance and punctuality

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
