Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Mold Remediation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in Mold Remediation and Water Damage Restoration, but experiance is not necessary. We are willing to train the right employee that has the willingness to learn. This role involves working on-site to remediate water and mold damage throughout residential and commercial properties.

Duties
- Conduct mold remediation activities, including removal of water and mold damaged building materials such as trim, baseboards, drywall, insulation, tile, durock, counter tops, cabinets, and the cleaning, removal, and disposal of contaminated materials

- Utilize containment/dust barriers to prevent cross-contamination during water damage mitigation and mold remediation

- Employ appropriate cleaning techniques to remove mold and dust throughout the water and mold remediation process

- Paint and encapsulation of exposed framing and building materials

- Set up and monitor equipment such as airscrubbers and dehumidifiers to remove mold, dust, and dry building structure

- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and delivery of services

- Communicate with clients clearly, providing updates and details on remediation processes and outcomes

Skills
- Ability to use hand and power tools such as drills, hammers, razor knives, circular saws, sawzall, and tools needed in order to remove water and mold damaged building material

- Must be able to work without air condition and the ability to work in high heat conditions

- Must be able to wear respirator and personal protective equipment

- Ability to lift an estimated 50lbs

- Have consistent attention to detail

- Follow instructions and work well with others

- Be respectful to customers and their home or business

- Punctual and dependable

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $800.00 - $1,200.00 per week
