Job Title: QC Sampler/ Warehouse

Reports to:

Warehouse Manager/ Assistant Warehouse Manager/ Weighing and QC Sampler Senior Lead

YOUR PURPOSE:

QC Sampler will sample incoming raw materials and components in a timely manner. Ability to operate, clean, and maintain a high volume pace, which is necessary to complete production requirements and all other duties as directed.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Documentation:

Picklists generated from ERP system, used for pulling materials needed for production.
Receiving log book.
Shipping bill of ladings.

Warehousing:

Accurate and timely completion of pulling materials needed for production.
Receiving daily shipments using Ion Labs procedures, unscheduled activity.
Receive items into inventory.
Daily cycle counts of inventory.
Pick items needed for production and stage them to be shipped over from satellite warehouse.
Require heavy lifting up to 50 lbs. daily, with help.
Support manufacturing, material handling activities.

QC SAMPLING:

Inspection of raw materials and packaging components
Understanding of statistical sampling methodologies
Perform technical review and verification of data according to specifications, accept or reject materials based on results.
Conduct investigations, respond to emails and changes to documentation.
Inspecting packaging components by AQL charts; conducting visual and measurement tests
Delivers assigned tasks on time
Function and problem solve independently without supervision
Knowledge of cGMP and GLP
Willing to work holidays and weekends as requested by QC Lab
Position requires ability to read, write, walk, sit and stand, use hands to handle or feel, reach above shoulders and below waist, see, talk and hear, smell, and lift up to 50lbs

Cleaning:

Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Experience:

Working knowledge of production and warehouse operation, typically resulting from a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Heavy lifting required.
Computer skills needed: Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel, WMS.
Ability to read, understand, and communicate in English.
Must be able to safely operate a pallet jack and forklift in congested areas.
Must have physical ability to work on feet for a full shift, regularly lift and carry heavy containers, and perform all duties of job in a safe manner.
Must be available to work OT, weekends and Holidays if requested by Manager.
All other duties as assigned by Manager.

Training, Certification or License:

Department GMP and SOP requirements
Must obtain a forklift certification within six months of attaining position.
Must have a valid FL DL.
Pallet jack training.

Education

Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent.
Requires basic addition, multiplication and division skills to calculate product counts.
