The purpose of the church custodian is to keep all church buildings clean. This is to be done on a weekly basis. Job performance reviews will be given at 6- and 12-months.

: 15 hours/week. Saturday and Sunday pm after all activities. Paid Vacation--2 weeks

Weekly Job Duties

1) Vacuum all carpeted surfaces weekly. Sanitize surfaces such as railings and doorknobs every week.

2) All bathrooms in all buildings are to be completely cleaned and Sanitized from floor to ceiling on a weekly basis. In addition, bathrooms should be checked on Sunday evening after activities have concluded and again mid-week. Preschool rooms need a mid-week cleaning. Refill all soap, paper towel and toilet paper dispensers at each cleaning.

3) Empty all trash cans during each weekly cleaning, to include the final one Friday or Saturday.

4) Dust altar area, instruments and all furniture.

5) Dust all windows

6) . Turn in a weekly inventory list of cleaning products and what is needed to be purchased.

7) Replace light bulbs as needed.

8) Empty dehumidifier in family life center hallway twice a week or more as needed.

Monthly Job Duties

1) Sweep/vacuum all Sunday School rooms every month, additionally as needed.

2) Mop basement hallway once a month.

3) Dust pews once a month and under cushions.

4) Kitchen: Mop once a month, clean trash cans once a month. Clean floormats once a month. Handwashing sink, clean twice monthly, replace hand soap and paper towels.

Bi-Monthly

1) Baseboards and window-washing included

6 Month Job Duties (July / December – while preschool is out)

1) Clean carpets twice a year, or additionally as needed.

Other Job Duties:

1) Communicate and provide 1 month notice to immediate supervisor for all vacations.

2) Ensure that buildings are secure after cleaning.

3) Other job duties will be assigned as needed

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week
