Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Janitor/Maintenance worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of 2 of our facilities in the Camden area.

Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
Maintain and clean restrooms and common areas
Perform floor care duties including buffing, waxing, and polishing
Conduct custodial duties to ensure a tidy environment
Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed
Handle residential painting tasks when required
Execute commercial and industrial cleaning duties
Act as a porter to keep entrances and exits clean and sanitized
Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
Replenish supplies in restrooms and break rooms as needed
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs and unclogging drains
Report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor
Adhere to safety and sanitation policies and procedures

Qualifications

Proven experience in janitorial or maintenance roles
Knowledge of cleaning procedures and practices
Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment
Familiarity with floor care techniques including buffing
Experience in residential painting is a plus

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
