OVERVIEW
We are seeking a dedicated Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order within our facilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Gather and empty trash in plant and office areas as needed
Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment
Move product as needed to facilitate production processes
Daily equipment upkeep/safety inspections
Keep production area and facilities clean and neat
Perform basic routine maintenance on equipment
Perform basic routine upkeep on facilities
Responsible for communicating with other departments to assist with production
Associate will be crossed trained in multiple areas to help as needed
Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
Service, clean, and supply restrooms
Assist with and learn to troubleshoot facility machinery
Other duties as assigned

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to lift up to 30 pounds required
Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment
Work involves frequent lifting of materials up to 30 pounds
Machinery and tool operation require the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, and hardhats; loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted

EXPERIENCE
- Prior experience in custodial roles
- Knowledge of porter duties is a plus
- Ability to perform various cleaning tasks efficiently
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment
- Strong attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness
- Capability to work independently and as part of a team
