Job Summary:
As a Sanitation Manager you will play a critical role in maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards within our facility. The ideal candidate will oversee sanitation operations, manage cleaning staff, and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.

Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement sanitation procedures to uphold food safety standards

· Supervise and coordinate cleaning activities to ensure efficient operations

· Manage and train staff on proper cleaning techniques and safety protocols

· Inspect facility regularly to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with regulations

· Monitor inventory levels of cleaning materials

· Conduct regular audits to assess sanitation performance and address any deficiencies promptly

· Maintain all Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP)

· Evaluate cleaning chemicals and process chemical usage and practices to find efficiencies in the cleaning program ensuring lower chemical and water usage in the plant

· Develop and maintain, document completion, and schedule tasks in a Master Sanitation Schedule

· Function as a resource for Production

· Promote safety in the plant through training that is related to chemical usage

· Demonstrate reliable attendance, consistent punctuality, and a positive attitude at all times

Qualifications:
· At least 3+ years of experience as a sanitation manager or in a manufacturing facility, preferably packinghouse

· Spanish Bi-lingual a plus

· Proven experience in housekeeping management, custodial services, or commercial cleaning

· Previous experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a packinghouse setting

· Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team

· Knowledge of packinghouse processes and equipment is required
