We are looking for a matured individual that has experience with special needs kids from ages 8-13. Please review the Responsibilities and Requirements prior to applying to ensure you will be the best fit.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
Perform housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
Laundry
Help with cooking
Make sure everything is organized in the kitchen
Running errands with mother or self
make sure the home is clean at all times

Requirements

CNA or DCW
Professional experience with special needs kids
NO CRIMINAL BACKGROUND
CPR/First Aid
Level 1 fingerprint clearance card
Article 9
BHT Certification (plus)

Skills

Proven experience as a caregiver (babysitting experience, any experience caring for another person.)
Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR) ( We may assist in obtaining)
Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
Respectful and compassionate
Good time management skills
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

High school diploma or equivalent

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
