Village at Belmar is one of Lakewood’s premier senior living communities, and we are looking for a conscientious and organized housekeeper to join our team. This position will be responsible for keeping both the common areas and resident’s apartments clean. You will play a critical role in the everyday lives of our amazing residents in our community. This is a full time position working Monday through Friday, 6:30am to 3:00pm.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Clean floors including sweeping, dusting, mopping, and disinfecting
Clean carpets including vacuuming, shampooing, and deodorizing
Removes dirt, dust, and grease from surfaces using proper cleaning and disinfecting solution
Visits assigned residences to perform basic apartment cleaning
Interacts with residents in a friendly manner, providing meaningful attention

Qualifications:

Previous experience in cleaning and housekeeping preferred
Personable and friendly with residents
Conscientious and detail oriented
Due to the nature of the work performed by Ascent Living Communities, and that this position works with a vulnerable population, we do require a criminal background check be completed

Pay:

$17.00 - 18.50 an hour based on experience
